Waverly Woods

Waverly Woods Golf Club is a daily-fee 18-hole course located due west of downtown Baltimore, about 1/2 mile off of I-70. The course was designed by Arthur Hills and takes advantage of the area's, umm, hills to create an interesting golfing challenge. Lots of opportunities to hit it hard off the tee - Hills was given enough land to create a course full of holes with landing areas of above-average size.

The Waverly Woods golf course is built on the land surrounding the historic Waverly Mansion, which is available for weddings and other events. The course's clubhouse is also available for rent.  You can find hotels near Waverly Woods at TheRealPlaces.com.  Waverly Woods is 14.9 miles from downtown Baltimore.
